The proposed STAK Energy Data Center Project includes plans for a natural gas-powered data center on Alaska's North Slope. This section contains project documents, public notices, maps, permit information, and opportunities for public comment as they become available.
The proposed Colville Delta 8 (CD8) Project would develop oil and gas resources from the Narwhal reservoir approximately 2.1 miles east-northeast of Nuiqsut. The project proposed by ConocoPhillips Alaska includes a new drillsite, gravel access road, pipelines, and related infrastructure. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is reviewing the project through the Environmental Impact Statement process, including potential impacts to subsistence, public health, cultural resources, air and water quality, wildlife, and the Nuiqsut community.

PRELIMINARY DECISION: ADL 422741, LAND LEASE APPLICATION.
The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Oil and Gas, has issued a Preliminary Decision to offer STAK Energy Corporation a 50-year lease for approximately 715 acres of state land located about 26 miles south of Deadhorse along the Dalton Highway. The proposed lease would allow the construction, operation, and maintenance of a commercial natural gas-powered energy facility, including a data center with on-site power generation, fiber optic communications, operations buildings, and supporting infrastructure.
